Is it not the larger unmentioned issue that is more substantial to russia as a whole? Recognizing how their Nuclear capability will be undermined and useless toward any US strike? Also recognizing that a nuclear launch from Russia upon any US interest would also be undermined, furthermore creating a nuclear disaster right over their own heads, in some cases less then 5 miles above the surface of their soil?
