yep....4 tuning pegs = BASS! Tommy Shannon, Johnny's bass player, also
played with Stevie Ray Vaughn!

Ya know when I got your message I was excited because I thought it was a
good explanation, but on further inspection I see 4 thick (bass) strings
coming up from the neck, and could not see the 2 extra tuning keys nor
evidence of the strings. On listening to the track again, I could hear 2
guitars, bass and drums. Neither of the guitars sound like either Johnny,
or Jimi. Maybe this is a fraud. But I thank you Mr. Trout for your reply,
and very interesting take on this.. G

This was The Scene Club. Jimi would be on tons of blow and speed at The
Scene, then go dowtown to the clubs in The Village then back to the Record
Plant in mid-town. He'd do this for days and days.

I really hope for your sake you aren't serious. Winter isn't fit to tune
Hendrix's guitar.
NoahZOMG (1 год назад)
hence why hendrix isn't playing the guitar in these jams
David Fahey (2 г. назад)
Actually, it's not. It's a 4 and 2. 4 tuning keys on one side and two on
the other side. Look closely at the guitar. Just listen also.

There is a Record Plant session listed in the JH discography that Winter
supposedly played on but Winter himself said he never met Hendrix. And
listening to this, it doesn't sound like Johnny Winter. Stephen Stills
perhaps?
