Her advice is pretty useles (like most if not all EV-videos), because it may trap beginners into wrong techniques. Lifting your fingers completely like she demontrates makes you loose orientation when changing positions in the fretboard, as you can see on her own playing. When it comes to complex voicings it's mandatory to let at least one finger slide along a string. The remaining squeal will be tolerable if you apply the right (minimal) amount of force.
Please stop strumming the "C" chord from the 6th string. It is ameturish. You are playing a C/E chord, not a C chord. I think she only knows how to play a G, C, and D chord. Why are you giving instruction?
This girl seems to mean well but has the absolute worst tips ever. DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS NONSENSE!!!
Muffle the strings with the anterior palm of your strum hand will also eliminate most of the scratching sound. With practice, the appropriate finger pressure comes naturally.
She's really, really amateur... most of her tips are either useless or so obvious that nobody needs to be told.
She should stick to decorating guitar pics with stickers... lol!!!
And she just bassically repeated the same thing, about 5 or 6 times, but in different word phrasing. Well, that was about the most wasting 2 minutes of my life. When I read the title of this video, I honestly thought it was talking about how to stop scraping your strings, litterally, because mine are pretty messed up.
